Compliance emerges as a key response to mitigate legal and reputational risks. The objective was to analyze the impact of the development of Compliance programs on business sustainability and competitiveness. 50 articles published between 2013 and 2023 on Compliance were reviewed, using a mixed methodology. Qualitatively, trends, challenges
and best practices in Compliance were identified and, quantitatively, the Pearson correlation coefficient was used to analyze the relationship between the variables, revealing strong correlations between risks and implementation (r = 0.85), weak correlations between risks and transparency ( r = 0.30) and
moderate between implementation and transparency (r = 0.45). It is concluded that large organizations have advanced in the adoption of Compliance, while
SMEs face difficulties, highlighting Compliance as a strategic tool to improve competitiveness and stability.
2025-09-09T00:00:00-05:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Yenniz Aracely Sánchez Briones, Ignacio Adalberto Navia Moreira, Gloria Isabel Loor Carvajal https://revistas.utm.edu.ec/index.php/ECASinergia/article/view/7443 Of leadership and its impact on the elements of Public Management of the SRI, Zonal Directorate 9 Pichincha 2025-06-10T14:31:42-05:00 Diana Estefanía Luje Paucar delujep@uce.edu.ec Byron Alejandroi Rodriguez Loor barodriguez@espam.edu.ec Xavier Mauricio Torres Maldonado nn@edu.ec
The objective of this research was to analyze the incidence of leadership in the elements of Public Management in Zonal Directorate 9 of the Internal Revenue Service (SRI) of Pichincha, Ecuador, the methodology used was descriptive and correlational, under a quantitative approach. In this context, the concepts of upskilling and reskilling emerge as key strategies for adaptation and professional growth. The objective of this article was to explore how these strategies impact productivity and organizational competitiveness, addressing their importance
for companies, governments, and workers in an ever-changing economy. Through a quantitative analysis with a descriptive level, where the characteristics or phenomena in a population of N=40 university professors were measured without necessarily seeking to establish causal relationships, a deep understanding of the perceptions and challenges in
the implementation of training programs was carried out using statistical tools. To support the bibliographic part, it was obtained through theories on upskilling and reskilling where an exhaustive review of the existing literature on these concepts was carried out, analyzing previous studies, academic articles and reports from relevant organizations. The results highlight that upskilling and reskilling strategies are considered essential to overcome
the challenges of productivity and competitiveness in an era of automation and digital transformation, however, implementation requires overcoming organizational barriers and tailoring training programs to the unique needs of employees and businesses.
2025-09-05T00:00:00-05:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Héctor Andrés Zambrano Noboa, Inelda Mercedes Pinargote Delgado
