Social services programs to eradicate poverty in Ecuador

The purpose of this research work is to analyze the social services programs to eradicate poverty in Ecuador, for which the following questions are planted: How many social programs are implemented in Ecuador and which of these have had a greater impact on the eradication of poverty? In order to answer these questions, we have used primary and secondary information through the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion and the National Institute of Statistics and Census to address the databases from 2007 to 2017, as well as information provided by CEPAL. The results indicate that poverty in Ecuador has decreased. It is concluded that in order to continue reducing poverty levels, greater control by the State and the active participation of the private sector are required to channel social services programs.
