Desigualdades de Género en el Ámbito Empresarial: Un Análisis Bibliométrico y de Revisión Sistemática

Resumen

Este estudio realiza un análisis exhaustivo de la literatura sobre desigualdades de género en el ámbito empresarial mediante una revisión sistemática y bibliométrica. El objetivo es identificar en la literatura científica internacional, tendencias y áreas de investigación sobre desigualdad de género, disparidad salarial, acoso sexual, políticas laborales, barreras al avance profesional y representación de género. Se analizaron datos de 282 artículos relevantes publicados en acceso abierto, de enero del 2020 a mayo del 2024, en las bases de datos: Science Direct, Scopus y Emerald Insigth, mediante el sistema de validación de inclusión y exclusión, y descripción de datos, según los criterios de las directrices PRISMA 2020. Los resultados subrayan la complejidad de factores que contribuyen a la brecha salarial y la subrepresentación de género en roles de liderazgo, destacando la influencia de la cultura organizacional y las normas socioculturales propias de cada nación. Se identificaron obstáculos tanto estructurales como sociales, especialmente en Asia, donde estas barreras dificultan el progreso de las mujeres en las organizaciones. Asimismo, se observa una prevalencia del acoso sexual y la necesidad de evaluar la efectividad de las políticas de igualdad de género. También se observaron tendencias como la inequidad de compensación en empresas innovadoras italianas, las diferencias sectoriales en las brechas salariales en España, y el impacto positivo de la diversidad de género en el desempeño empresarial en diversas regiones del mundo, como Estados Unidos, Jordania, Japón y Portugal.
