A programmable autonomous cleaning system for photovoltaic panels was built, having as main objective to maintain its cleaning in an efficient way, together with a quality relationship, thus improving the efficiency of the photovoltaic panel, its useful life time, together with a better aesthetics, this project helps to eliminate possible accidents that may arise when cleaning manually avoiding falls and other difficulties to human beings. The objective was to design an automatic cleaning system for photovoltaic panels in the practice system located on the terrace of building 1 of the Faculty of Science, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. A bibliographic search was carried out, and the inductive-deductive method and field work. As a result, the cleaning control system was obtained by means of a mechanism that basically works with a system of individual brushes for each panel.
