Format for AUTHORS
Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check that their submission meets all the elements presented in the checklist, which should be attached with the submission. condensed summary of these guidelines is as follows:
1. The submission has not been previously published nor is it currently being evaluated by any other journal.
2. Submission files are in .doc, .docx. format (e.g., Microsoft Word) which is presented as a downloadable template to follow the journal's publication instructions.
3. Whenever a citation is placed within the text, it will be done in APA 7th ed. style and the corresponding data will be placed in the list of bibliographical references, at the end of the text in strict alphabetical order.
4. The text is single spaced; Time New Roman font, 12 point; italics are used instead of underlining (except in URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures and tables are placed within the text in the corresponding places and in an editable manner.
5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the General Writing Guidelines for Authors, which appear on this page.
6. To ensure anonymous review, a version of the manuscript should be prepared without any author data (name, institutional affiliation or e-mail). To do this, with the document closed, use the option right click on the file/properties/details/option: remove properties and personal information/select source properties (author, saved by) accept.
7. You will need to fill out the letter of acceptance of publication and sign the lead author to upload to the platform along with the documents.
8. The file will be sent through the OJS platform, after author registration, and once the author uploads it can be tracked.
9. Only in exceptional cases, the article can be sent to the journal's address riemat@utm.edu.ec.
