Abstract

In El Sombrerito natural area, in the community of Machalilla, Puerto López (Manabí-Ecuador), there is a tourist trail frequented by visitors who spontaneously come to enjoy the landscape. However, it does not have accessibility for those with special abilities, nor is it designed for the visit of tourists with more demanding realities. The objective of the research was to identify the fractions of this ecological path, suitable for the satisfaction of these preferences and different realities. A tourism resource was developed with materials from the area, to minimize environmental impacts. The path was designed with the necessary conditions, and measures were proposed to encourage sustainable and inclusive tourism, using the endogenous capacities of the place, currently with little impact.
