The movable property with patrimonial value of the Valle de los Ingenios of Trinidad, Cuba: a proposal for its promotion in tourist value

Abstract

The enhancement of the tourist resources of the Valle de los Ingenios de Trinidad de Cuba will reduce the pressure that currently exists on the weak infrastructure that supports the city's economic and social activity. For this purpose, the objective of the investigation was to prepare a proposal that would contribute to sustaining the heritage of existing movable assets in the Valley, the drawing of tourist trails and the insertion of new forms of non-state economic activity in the territory, as ways to diversify tourism activity, rescue new spaces for the practice of different modalities, and train the actors to exercise new ways of doing, as a response to the resizing of traditional economic activities, based on sugarcane agricultural activity.
