Abstract

The annual operational evaluation is a fundamental aspect to measure the periodic management of the objectives, goals, programs, projects and actions that are linked to strategic management, it also constitutes a process that is relevant for continuous improvement and measurement of efficiency standards and effectiveness in organizations. The objective of this research is to determine the impact of the annual operational evaluation during the period 2015-2019 on the strategic management of San Gregorio Portoviejo Universisity. The quantitative and qualitative, explanatory and correlational methods were used. Through the results, the achievement of projects between the scheduled times and the investment made, self-financing for the execution of academic projects, research and linkage, and training were highlighted as a relevant aspect for the monitoring and execution of projects effectively. It was concluded that the synergy and articulation between the areas allows an alignment to the different strategies that represent the form to achieve the strategic objectives, likewise, the need to adopt preventive and corrective measures to improve on strategic management with the involvement of the actors as the pointed out.
