La ética como catalizador hacia la sostenibilidad empresarial: una revisión sistemática de tendencias

Resumen

Este estudio tiene como objetivo analizar y sintetizar la literatura existente sobre la relación entre la ética empresarial y la sostenibilidad corporativa, identificando patrones, tendencias y brechas en el conocimiento actual. Para ello, se realizó una revisión sistemática siguiendo la metodología PRISMA, empleando Scopus como fuente principal y considerando publicaciones entre 2020 y 2024. Se identificaron 31 artículos relevantes mediante una estrategia de búsqueda basada en términos clave relacionados con ética, empresa y sostenibilidad. Los hallazgos destacan que la ética empresarial actúa como catalizador de la sostenibilidad a través de marcos regulatorios, la presión de los grupos de interés y la evidencia de su impacto positivo en el desempeño corporativo a largo plazo. El análisis bibliométrico revela un enfoque interdisciplinario en el campo, con contribuciones significativas desde las ciencias sociales, medioambientales e informáticas. Asimismo, se observa un liderazgo
geográfico de Estados Unidos, Reino Unido y Alemania. Se identifican tendencias como el desarrollo de marcos operativos tecnológicamente integrados y el estudio de la relación entre el tamaño empresarial y las calificaciones ESG. En conclusión, la ética ha evolucionado de una perspectiva normativa a un eje central de los modelos empresariales sostenibles. Se recomienda continuar investigando la implementación de estas tendencias en PYMES, fortalecer metodologías para evaluar impactos reales y explorar las implicaciones éticas de innovaciones tecnológicas emergentes.
