Abstract:
The general objective of this research was to determine the influence of the use of Wix in the strengthening of the competence to live together and participate democratically, in high school students of the Saúl Cantoral Huamani Educational Institution. The type of research was applied, quantitative approach, quasi-experimental design. The population consisted of 69 students in two groups, 35 students for the control group and 34 students for the experimental group. The instrument used was the checklist to evaluate the competence to live together and participate democratically, validated through the technique of experts' judgments and reliability through Cronbach's Alpha (0.788). In the results, it was observed that the distribution by group with respect to the pretest shows that most students are concentrated in the beginning and process levels for both study groups. After developing the 12 learning sessions, it was observed that the distribution by group with respect to the post-test shows that the majority of students in the experimental group are concentrated in "process" and "expected", while the majority of the control group is located in the "beginning" and "process" levels. Likewise, the significance is lower than p<0.05 in the Mann Whitney U test, so according to the decision rule there is statistical evidence that the use of Wix influences the development of the competence "Coexist and participate democratically", in high school students of the Saúl Cantoral Huamani Educational Institution. - San Juan de Lurigancho.
