Peer review
Peer evaluation process
The Journal of Humanistic and Social Sciences (ReHuSo) guarantees a review process of the submitted originals that conforms to the principles of objectivity, non-discrimination, and scientific quality.
ReHuSo magazine reviews the originals submitted through the double blind peer review system. The review of originals will be carried out in two phases: first, a pre-review of the originals will be carried out by the editorial team to assess their acceptance, modification or rejection. Once the article is accepted in this first phase, it is evaluated anonymously by two external reviewers specialized in the subject, eliminating all identifying data of authorship. In the event of a discrepancy between them, it will be sent to a third evaluator. All reviewers have public evaluation criteria on this platform. The acceptance or rejection of each work will be based on a motivated decision according to what is stated by these reviewers. The editor of the ReHuSo journal will guarantee the selection of the most qualified reviewers and scientific specialists to issue a critical and expert appreciation of the work with the least possible biases. This will ensure the academic quality of the submitted manuscripts through an objective, balanced and fair review.
Plagiarism detection
The Editorial Committee of the ReHuSo magazine has the function of identifying the levels and percentages of similarity of the texts submitted for consideration for publication, compared with available open access information. If an article does not meet the requirements, it may be rejected or returned to the authors for correction. Once this process is completed, a “receipt letter” is issued to the authors, as proof of receipt of their article, and they proceed to the peer review process. For this process there is a license on the Compilatio platform.
Confidentiality
The editor of the ReHuSo journal will ensure the confidentiality of the manuscripts submitted in the review process, eliminating all identifying data of authorship before being sent for double-pair evaluation.
Conflict of interests
The editor of the ReHuSo journal must ensure that there is no conflict of interest (financial, institutional, collaborative or other relationships) between the reviewer and the authors.
