Children's theater as a didactic strategy for the development of oral expression in children
El teatro infantil como estrategia didáctica para el desarrollo de la expresión oral en los niños

The objective of this research is to determine the contribution of children's theater for the development of oral expression in 4-year-old children of the Ocho de Enero Educational Unit. For this purpose, theoretical, empirical, mathematical and/or statistical methods were used, through a mixed approach that allowed to deepen in the core aspects of the research; an observation form was applied to 21 children and surveys to 2 teachers where descriptive statistics were used for the analysis. It was determined that theater is a contribution to the development of children's oral expression. It is concluded that theater, in addition to being a didactic strategy that contributes and promotes the development of oral expression, enables children to express their personality, exercising their memory and promoting the development of motor skills.
