An experimental sequence was conducted to verify the efficacy of dry ruminal content as an energy-protein constituent in the production of nutritional blocks for animal feed. The chemical composition of the dry ruminal content showed crude protein values close to 10%, FB 42% and NDF 87%. The multinutritional blocks made with 25% of the dry ruminal content and 10% of urea had a content of dry matter, ash, crude protein, organic matter, calcium, and magnesium of 74, 24, 25, 75, 9.16 and 0.82% BS respectively with a penetration rate close to 12.5 kgf / cm3 and microbiological analyzes showed the safety of the final product. Acceptability tests for rams and heifers under stabling conditions indicated adequate consumption during the observation period with figures that increased as the time of offering elapsed. The voluntary consumption of pastures of grazing heifers and the apparent digestibility of the dry matter of the diet did not differ between the treatments with concentrated foods and the multinutritional blocks with average figures of 7 kg animal day-1. The results show that it is possible to use dry ruminal content as a component of multinutritional blocks for animal feed which in turn contributes to environmental decontamination.
