Anti-Plagiarism Policy
The RECUS Journal is committed to promoting integrity and ethics in scientific research. To this end, it has established the following anti-plagiarism policy, which applies to all submitted works.
Objective: Ensure that published works are original and free of plagiarism.
Definition: Plagiarism is the presentation of another's work as one's own without proper citation. It can be:
- Textual Plagiarism: Literal copying without citation.
- Idea Plagiarism: Appropriation of concepts without citation.
Responsibilities: Authors, reviewers, and editors must avoid plagiarism.
Procedure:
- All works will undergo a plagiarism detection process using specialized software.
- If plagiarism is detected, an explanation will be requested from the author.
- If the explanation is unsatisfactory, the work will be rejected.
Sanctions:
- Rejection of the work.
- Publication of a retraction note.
- Suspension or expulsion from the journal.
Implementation: The journal will take the following measures to implement this policy:
- Training: The editorial team will receive periodic training on plagiarism detection.
- Communication: The anti-plagiarism policy will be communicated to authors, reviewers, and readers.
- Supervision: The editorial team will supervise compliance with the policy.
