Efeitos da superproteção parental no início da vida adulta

Resumo

O aumento da parentalidade superprotetora, caracterizada pelo controle excessivo sobre a vida dos filhos, tem gerado preocupação por limitar sua autonomia e diminuir sua capacidade de tomar decisões independentes. Nesse sentido, o objetivo deste artigo é analisar os principais efeitos emocionais e sociais da parentalidade superprotetora em jovens adultos. Para tanto, foi realizado um estudo documental utilizando o método de análise-síntese, revisando 38 artigos indexados no Scopus, Web of Science, SciELO e Redalyc, publicados entre 2021 e 2025. Isso permitiu a identificação de conceitos-chave que facilitaram a análise dos efeitos desse estilo parental. No âmbito emocional, observaram-se ansiedade e uma identidade mal definida; enquanto no âmbito social, evidenciaram-se problemas de dependência e dificuldades nos relacionamentos interpessoais. Isso suscita reflexões sobre a necessidade de promover práticas parentais equilibradas que estimulem o desenvolvimento dos jovens como adultos funcionais na sociedade contemporânea.

Doctora en Educación, Magíster en Psicología Educativa, Licenciada en Educación, con especialidad en Lengua y Literatura. Docente universitaria con amplia experiencia en el ámbito académico, como coordinadora de Competencia Comunicativa, profesora de redacción, argumentación, investigación e interpretación de textos. Ha publicado artículos dentro del campo de educación, así como comprensión lectora, actualmente se desempeña en universidades privadas en el área de Investigación Formativa.
