Interoperability Protocol

All publications by Nullius Journal incorporate advanced interoperability protocols, allowing their contents to be collected and disseminated by academic systems and repositories. The journal uses the Open Journal Systems (OJS, version 3.0.2) platform, which integrates the following standards and access mechanisms:

  • OAI-PMH protocol, which facilitates the automatic and standardized harvesting of metadata by harvesters and digital repositories.
  • RSS 2.0 and ATOM protocols, available for dynamic and automated content distribution.
  • Metadata formats: Dublin Core, RFC1807, RSS 1.0, ATOM.
  • Generation of structured metadata in JATS XML to optimize integration with scientific information systems.
  • Assignment of DOI identifiers, ensuring the digital preservation, citability, and traceability of each published article.

Technical interoperability and regular updating of metadata guarantee the maximum visibility, reuse, and preservation of the scientific content published by Nullius, ensuring its accessibility within the global academic ecosystem.
