Abstract

This paper addresses the problem of multiple decisions or social decision.
It consists of considering a collective of individuals who make decisions on a set of policies.
A social decision model is proposed; that is,
a model that makes it possible to establish a global decision on the collective based on individual decisions.
A version of the Borda function is used as the aggregation mechanism and the Plausible Dominance Rule is used to order the policies.
It is shown that this model satisfies a property of interest in social choice theory known as Pareto strict dominance.
