The present work analyzes the University-Company link, as a fundamental element for quality management processes, starting from a dynamic of interaction, harmonization and integration of these with research, in an educational and developmental way, which characterizes university contexts and business. The objective of this research is evaluate the state of the University-Company, taking into account its role in quality management and institutional excellence and thus become an important reference for decision-makers of the Benguela province. For this, a mixed approach was used, with an exploratory-descriptive-correlational scope, the survey was applied as an instrument to obtain the necessary data in students and teachers of the Maravilla Benguela Higher Polytechnic Institute and agents of seven companies. The qualitative and quantitative information obtained allowed us to know the existing deficiencies in the educational process that prevent the development of a training consistent with the requirements of today’s society, where the commitment between the university and the business sector constitutes a key element and, in addition, lays the foundations to reprogram and redefine policies and strategies that allow the sustained progress of the Angolan nation.
