An evaluation of the management of the budget for results and its effect on the quality of life in the basic services of a District of the South of Peru

The purpose was to determine the influence of performance budgeting on the quality of life in basic services. The method used was a quantitative, descriptive-correlational approach. The locality is composed of 5541 inhabitants of the district of Quilcapuncu and the sample of 359 citizens, which was obtained by simple random probability sampling, a questionnaire was used to measure the research variables, achieving as an effect in the tests applied a positive correlation average in what refers to budget management by result, with respect to quality of life, since of 45%, 21% of residents who collaborated in the survey indicate that budget management is regular and therefore the quality of life is in a moderate range; In the same way, the Spearman's Rho coefficient shows a relationship value of (Rho = 0.428), finding an average positive correlation. In conclusion, budget management measures the indicators. Budget programming and formulation, budget execution and valuation, as well as the municipality's incentive plan. If it has a positive impact on the quality of life, budget execution will be carried out efficiently, since it will show that revenues are being used to provide the basic services required by the population.
