Resumen

  Los geoparques son recursos encaminados a desarrollar la conservación, educación, turismo y desarrollo sustentable. Esta investigación exploró el funcionamiento de otros geoparques y lugares de destino, las estrategias de marketing, las tendencias y posibles soluciones a los impactos del COVID-19. Para obtener la información se aplicó una entrevista al igual que una investigación secundaria exploratoria en bases de datos científicos. Entre las acciones para la reactivación del turismo se encuentra el mejoramiento en las relaciones entre las partes interesadas, mayor participación de las comunidades locales, cambios de paradigma, creación de productos turísticos atractivos y la innovación de estrategias de marketing por medio de la tecnología.   Palabras clave: Biodiversidad, geoparque, marketing de destino, turismo sostenible.
