Geoparks are resources aimed at developing conservation, education, tourism and sustainable development. This research explores the operation of other geoparks and destination places, marketing strategies, trends and possible solutions to the impacts of COVID-19. To obtain the information, an interview was applied as well as a secondary exploratory investigation in scientific databases of greater relevance. Among the actions for a possible reactivation of tourism is the improvement in the relationships between the public-private stakeholders, greater participation of the communities, paradigm changes, creation of attractive tourism products and the innovation of marketing strategies through technology. Keywords: Biodiversity, destination marketing, geopark, sustainable tourism.Downloads
