Evaluation in suplier´s behavior in University of Holguín

Abstract

This research works with the application of a prescriptive tool that supports the management of suppliers for their evaluation in the theoretical-methodological order at the University of Holguín, Cuba. It consists of a procedure that affects economic decision-making by minimizing errors in the supplier management process: it denotes the place of delivery according to the agreed conditions, as well as frequent communication of agreement by both parties regarding changes or unforeseen events that may occur during the marketing and the quality of the product or service offered. Directly, through methods such as observation, unstructured interviews, and mathematical-statistical methods, the verification of purchased products and the process of acquiring merchandise that meets the needs of the entity is reestablished from the organizational and functional point of view. The main results contribute to the restructuring of the process of diagnosis, evaluation, and control of supplier management, the effectiveness of the decision-making process, as well as allowing the identification of problems and their solution within the framework of supply management.
