Abstract

The Organic Law of Higher Education (LOES) of Ecuador, in the resolution of 2014, establishes that the Council of Evaluation, Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Higher Education (CEAACES) will be the evaluation body of higher education institutions ( IES), in order to determine if its performance meets the characteristics and quality standards, according to its mission, the purposes and objectives of the institution. In Ecuador, as in Mexico, Chile, and Brazil, educational evaluation has been implanted as a fundamental pillar of higher education policies, and is being fundamental in educational design in order to produce quality education. This research tries to diagnose the quality of the processes applied in the educational evaluation from the evaluation of different agents that intervene as authorities, teachers and students. For this, the indicators "Educational Model", "Motivation" and "Evaluation" have been considered. The selected methodology applies an expert-tested survey and pilot test, which resulted in the final survey, which was used to measure the different levels of evaluation of the educational evaluation process from the point of view of the different agents under study in the Technical University of Manabí.
