Abstract

The work presents an interview with Alejandra Gils Carbó, the first woman Attorney General of the Nation (2012 - 2017), explains that lawfare is actually private stateized violence, motorized in recent years as an alternative to coups d'état in cases where it is no longer socially possible to carry them out. These phenomena are driven by sectors of power that resist democratic social transformations, before which, Gils Carbó proposes a series of reforms focused on the Judicial Power, considering that there is no consensus for a ‘revolutionary’ judicial reform.
