About the Journal

The Informática y Sistemas Journal (IyS) is a semi-annual electronic publication of a scientific nature, with ISSN 2550-6730 (Electronic Version), published by the Technical University of Manabí, oriented to the socialization of research results, through novel articles and high scientific rigor, in the areas associated with information and communication technologies. IyS presents calls for the publication of articles (Call for papers) in Spanish or English. The articles received will follow a double blind peer review process, guaranteeing the publication of two issues per year. IyS does not make charges for the costs of processing, shipping or publishing articles. Este número reúne artículos sobre avances recientes en informática, inteligencia artificial y tecnologías emergentes aplicadas al patrimonio cultural, la educación, la ciberseguridad y el desarrollo de sistemas. Incluye trabajos sobre realidad aumentada aplicada a fiestas tradicionales y a la enseñanza de la química, revisiones sistemáticas sobre inteligencia artificial en vehículos autónomos y sobre aprendizaje inteligente en programación, así como estudios originales de detección de malware en Android, análisis de vulnerabilidades bajo OWASP API Security en sistemas web públicos, un algoritmo híbrido mendeliano-bayesiano para inferencia de genotipos y una arquitectura hexagonal con microservicios para la digitalización de procesos administrativos públicos.
