About the Journal
Informática y Sistemas (e-ISSN 2550-6730) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal published by the Universidad Técnica de Manabí, Ecuador, through its Editorial Processes Unit. It publishes research articles, case studies, and reviews in English on information and communication technologies, including software engineering, networks, artificial intelligence and data science, cybersecurity, and ICT in education. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two external reviewers under a double-blind process, and all articles are published under a CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license. The journal is free of charge for both readers and authors: there are no submission, processing, or publication fees (no APCs).
