Informática y Sistemas: Revista de Tecnologías de la Informática y las Comunicaciones (ISRTIC) is a semi-annual electronic publication of a scientific nature, with ISSN 2550-6730 (Electronic Version), published by the Technical University of Manabí, oriented to the socialization of research results, through novel articles and high scientific rigor, in the areas associated with information and communication technologies. ISRTIC presents calls for the publication of articles (Call for papers) in Spanish or English. The articles received will follow a blind peer review process, guaranteeing the publication of two issues per year. ISRTIC does not make charges for the costs of processing, shipping or publishing articles. This issue brings together articles on recent advances in computer science, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies applied to education, industry, and systems development. It includes a review of the use of augmented reality in mobile devices and original studies on automatic generation of educational content with AI, user-centered design, security for AI implementation in the cloud, and agricultural data balancing using generative networks. It is complemented by applied works and prototypes, such as real-time livestock monitoring with LoRa and sensors, a vocational guidance chatbot, and an intelligent monitoring system based on deep learning.
