About the Journal

Journal of Research in Energy, Environment and Technology (RIEMAT), ISSN: 2588-0721, is a scientific journal addressed to the scientific community in general, specialized in the areas of engineering, related sciences, architecture and engineering education, open access and free publication, which disseminates original scientific and technical contributions, review and methodological, product of research.  

The journal is affiliated to the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences of the  Technical University of Manabí (UTM) in Ecuador. The periodicity of the journal is biannual, with an annual volume of 2 issues. Each issue covers articles processed within the following periods: The first issue (January-June); and the second (July-December), articles can be written in Spanish and English. The mode of publication is continuous within each issue, publishing articles as they are approved, within each period.

Our journal started publishing electronically in January 2016 and as of January 2023, we proceeded to adjust the rules for the publication of articles, which must have at least 20 bibliographic references.
