Abstract

The creation  of  the unit  of  university cooperation  "is primarily aimed to strengthen ties and promote academic work and scientific cooperation  with  institutions  of  higher  education  of  high national  and international  prestige,  enhance  access  to  new information  technologies  and  communication.  encouraging networking  for  knowledge  management,  innovation  and  endogenous local development Its mission has been to promote, strengthen and expand  international  ties  of  the  Technical  University  of  Manabí, which directly benefit the management and development of programs strategic  institution  through coordination  with  academic  units (faculties,  departments,  teachers  and  students  in  general),  with directions  graduate,  research,  and  others.  The  main  results  have been  ongoing  internationalization  of  the university,  which  is  He has  accomplished  through  policies  and  actions  that  promote  a better use of the opportunities  of open  cooperation in the world for  higher  education.  It  was  possible  to  increase international agreements,  increase  the  formation  of  masters  and  doctors, increasing seminars, courses and workshops for doctoral training, development  of  joint  cooperation  projects,  mobility  of  teachers and students  and  the  creation  of  ten  working  groups  that  have strengthened the institutional prestige and visibility.
