Abstract:
The current research aims to determine the stress levels among educators in the 13DO9-Paján District in Manabí. To achieve this, a review of the bibliographical foundation on the definition of stress, particularly in relation to educators, was conducted. The study employed a mixed approach, incorporating descriptive and field research methods. Deductive, analytical-synthetic, descriptive, and statistical methods were applied. Data collection utilized interview and survey techniques, along with the Teachers' Stress Inventory (TSI) by Kyriacou, Chris—a questionnaire designed for evaluating stress in educators. The findings reveal that educators exhibit various and significant levels of stress. However, it is observed that the authorities lack a comprehensive strategy to address and enhance the well-being of teachers.
