Approach and scope
Focus and Scope:
PSIDIAL: Psicología y Diálogo de Saberes is an open-access scientific journal from the Universidad Técnica de Manabí, established in 2022. It is a semiannual journal that follows a continuous publication model. It publishes original and unpublished research in all areas of Psychology, with a dual commitment: the dissemination of rigorous psychological knowledge and the active promotion of an interdisciplinary dialogue of knowledges. The approach to complex psychological and social phenomena is enriched by multiple perspectives. Therefore, the journal serves as a convergence space for works that, originating in psychology, build theoretical and methodological bridges with related disciplines such as sociology, anthropology, education, neurosciences, and health sciences, among others.
The journal follows an external expert evaluation system (peer review), using the double-blind review methodology, and adheres to the publication standards of the American Psychological Association (APA). It is indexed in the Regional Online Information System for Scientific Journals of Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain and Portugal (Latindex Catalog 2.0) and in DIALNET. It is a member of the Latin American Network of Academic Journals in Social Sciences and Humanities (LatinREV) and the Network of Ecuadorian Editors and Scientific Journals (RERCIE).
It is available in an electronic version (e-ISSN: 2806-5972) in Spanish and English, and each paper is identified with a DOI (Digital Object Identifier).
